Shoot ‘n Duck Game
Shoot ‘n Duck is a Javascript game that has been fully integrated into WordPress. The game can be played on any page within WordPress without leaving or being redirected to a different page. The game has been integrated into the actual WordPress theme. It’s fully developed in Javascript using jQuery. Features like saving score and viewing highscores are using AJAX to connect to PHP scripts that read and write data from/to a MySQL database.
The Shoot ‘n Duck game runs cross-browser and is independent from browser resolution. It automatically adjusts stage size and position of dynamic objects. All game objects are fully dynamically, randomly positioned, moved and animated. The game changes, becoming more difficult, depending on how the player interacts with particular objects. To save and retrieve score Shoot ‘n Duck used the WordPress API, fully integrating the backend into WordPress as well.
WordPress theme and game design has been developed and designed by myself as well.
